During the 1970s, our esteemed founder, Prof. Wong, pioneered the development of a groundbreaking cultivation method known as "Natural Whole Wood Log Cultivation." This innovative approach allows
us to cultivate premium grade Ganoderma mushrooms in a completely organic environment without resorting to harmful chemicals or pesticides.
2. Overview of the Lingzhi Plantation
Situated in Jiangyou, the hometown of the renowned ancient Chinese poet Li Bai, the plantation encompasses a longitude range of East 104˚31' - 105˚17' and a latitude range of North 31˚32' -
32˚19'. The region boasts several significant cultural sites under Chinese key cultural relic protection, such as Mt. Douwei, Temple Yunyan, Sword Door, and Road Shu. Known as a gateway to the
mythical realm of "Nine Villages" and the celestial sanctuary "Yellow Dragon Temple," the plantation enjoys a subtropical humid monsoon climate. With an average annual sunshine duration of 1367 hours
and an annual rainfall of 1100mm, the relative humidity stands at 80%. The mountainous terrain, belonging to the Dragon Door System, reaches an altitude of approximately 600 meters, maintaining an
average temperature of 16˚C. The area experiences distinct seasons, with significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, rendering it an ideal habitat for the growth of Lingzhi. Moreover,
the surrounding forest abounds with wild, natural Lingzhi during the summer and autumn months.
3.The Signs of Lingzhi’s Maturation& Picking Method
Determining the optimal time for picking Lingzhi involves observing specific signs of maturation, which include:
(1) The cessation of growth in Lingzhi's top cover.
(2) The consistent coloration of Lingzhi's top cover, with a same-color curl circle at the edge.
(3) The dispersal of numerous Lingzhi spores.
(4) Uniform coloration beneath the top cover.

Adhering to the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) standard, Lingzhi picked and sorted exhibit exceptional quality. These meticulously cultivated and sorted Lingzhi adhere to the standards of Good
Manufacturing Practice (GMP), ensuring highly concentrated Concord Sunchih products that effectively promote health and well-being.
5. What is Cordyceps Cs-4?
The wild harvested mushrooms are still relatively scarce and very expensive, and the process of harvesting the wild fruit bodies in the Himalayan highlands can be environmentally damaging - so modern
use and research has focused on hot water/alcohol extracts of the Cs-4 strain of mycelium cultivated in liquid culture (then extracted, dehydrated to a powder and encapsulated). The Cs-4 strain of
mycelium is the only strain of Cordyceps mycelium that provides all the active compounds found in the wild harvested Cordyceps mushrooms. Concord combine wild harvested Cordyceps and extracts of the
Cs-4 into one Concord Vita-cordy capsule.
